Google now in quest of becoming display advertisement giant

Google explore any digital marketing opportunity because of its extent of popularity and revenue earning capacity; said by Henrique De Castro, Google agency VP global media & platform. Google has started working on new consultancy this time, display advertisement. The major chunk of Google digital marketing revenue comes through ads placement. It has managed to make its name in the world of digital marketing advertisements and now wants to capitalise on its established brand name by entering into display advertisement.

Product management official (VP) at agency, Neal Mohan is of the view that today display ads is a new digital marketing phenomena and if Google consultancy can manage to invest in, it can raise its profit many folds. The mere $20 billion is a meagre amount in this vast pool of opportunities which resides for Google in display advertisement market.

While doing away with the curiosity of media personnel's, executives at Google company are justifying the fact that Google wants to earn revenue in display market in a same manner, as it earned popularity in ads search market. Google wants to make these digital marketing display ads more effective so as to make more money out of it.

The administration expense in display advertisement amount to 28% as pointed out by Neal Mohan but when old methods of digital marketing advertisement is considered it was about 2%.

With more and more expansion in digital marketing advertisement and increased investment made by companies and agency on content display, Google thinks that mobile and other media is becoming more advanced in this quest of making use of extensive content and ads on the web.

Designing and displaying display ads is not an easy task, much creativity is involved and Google is proud of the fact that its new advertisement pool has more than 400 stored data. The new ad method introduced by Google has an advantage of 30% and the amount come from all those publishers who use the new ads features of Google digital marketing.

Google is in a firm position to enter any digital market it wants, the vast pool of resources and sales team make the work even easier for them. This is what came out of De Castro VP media & platforms, here he compares Google digital marketing efforts with other agencies like MySpace, other companies gets restricted by their sales teams but Google don't have any such problem to face.

The number of digital ads on You Tube has also increased by 10 folds. The popularity of You Tube can be estimated from the fact that it already lead from Yahoo and is ranked at second. North America alone brings in 50 million people surfing digital ads on You Tube.

The power of Google is emphasised at HQ, New York by saying that digital advertisement is not a new concept for Google rather it is already embedded in Google trade. They are just combining display with search and see bright future ahead where they can get a raise of $40 billion from $20 billion in just 4 years span.
