Google Caffeine - a new Era in Global Search Engines

Fed up of waiting for search engines to update? Google has found a solution for you. It’s new next-generation search infrastructure known as “Caffeine" (the indexing system overhaul) is coming up. According to Google, this is going to be a revolution in search engine marketing as this new setup will provide fifty percent higher fresh results than the existing systems.

According to Peter Norvig the Google Research head, its index is updated every ten seconds. Earlier the index was divided into two layers wherein one layer got updated faster and other layer slowly. This has been possible because now Google analyses the web in small portions as compared to earlier methods where they would analyze entire web at once and cause significant delay in finding pages and then delivering it to the searcher. Caffeine has reduced the earlier delay. In fact, now Google can add pages to index the moment they crawl the pages.
