Facebook and Google entangled in new tech rivalry

With rumors of Google's most recent stab at the media market going around last week, many have taken this move as a direct hit towards Facebook - the leader of the social networking society.

Google is threatened by Facebook, as Facebook offers a wider variety of digital marketing, without the company or agency's owner having to create more unique designs on their web pages. Google loses its customers as Facebook gains; digital marketing is rapidly losing its charisma on Google as it gains popularity on Facebook.

Google has however tried to take a stand against the master of all social networks, however Google's site - OpenSocial, however it could not stand against the strong foundations of Facebook. Since hackers cracked the code to snoop on users' information, Google Buzz did not achieve the success they wished to be.

Facebook's encouragement of digital marketing has lead to a rapidly increasing line at Facebook's door. Since it has become the greatest social network more companies and agencies would rather digitally market their merchandise there.

Facebook has experienced a massive expansion of their horizons, which also enables them to put up a troubling situation, as Facebook represents search impossibility, profiles on Facebook can not be searched for on Google and Facebook currently returns web searches with the help of upstarts Bing, thus digitally marketing Bing and putting Google in jeopardy.

Whichever way Facebook chooses seems to bring Google a step down. It use to be the first search engine optimization that firms would use to digitally market themselves to people who browse the internet since Facebook is gathering followers from all over the globe and the more time you spend on Facebook the less time on Google.

Businesses now find Facebook a better medium for the communication of their merchandise, at first Google was used for everything, but now Facebook the social network that has taken the world by storm digitally markets firms and their services on their user's personal profiles. With the new advancements in Google's search engine it might prove difficult to stay away from it, but one thing is for sure, what is more difficult is to log off your facebook page right in of the Farm Ville application!

Now is the age of digital marketing, all the work is online these days and now with Facebook more than half of the younger age is logging in all the time as well. Google now has lesser traffic than it uses to get back before Facebook had been born.
